About the weather station project

The main weather station will be in operation between around April and November each year, depending on the conditions around these times. The instrument is affected by ice and freezing conditions and so operation over the winter months is not likely to provide useful readings.

Use the weather information in combination with other resources, forecasts and careful judgement to ensure a safe and enjoyable walk.
